Stop Crowe-ing about the Media
April 24, 2009

Russell Crowe says he still despises journalists, despite playing a heroic one in his new movie State of Play.
I can reveal, without any fear of contradiction, that Mr Crowe is equally unpopular with journalists.
He’s spent the last two decades abusing and mocking hacks all round the world. And as a result, almost every Fleet Street reporter will tell you a horror story involving this foul-mouthed, uncouth, stuck up, ludicrously pretentious, thespian goon.
Dear dear Russell does, of course, continue to do endless interviews to promote his film career, despite insisting he hates the journalists who conduct them.
Making him not just an ill-mannered jerk, but a hypocritical ill-mannered jerk.

I personally do not feel Mr. Crowe is a remarkable actor, on the contrary, he’s a remarkable idiot! He despises everyone and everything. I do hope his movie is a failure so this nonsense will stop!

Russell Ira Crowe.
Ira (Spanish) = Rage (English)
This chap’s full name really suits his
bad temper: Russell ‘Rage’ Crowe.
About the journalists who have to
interview him: Gulp! I wouldn’t like
to be on theirs shoes.

Don’t sugarcoat it - tell us how you really feel Piers - I have to agree too, he is a complete ass

Could it just be that he confuses the term “paparazzi” with “journalist”? After all, he’s an actor, not an English major.
Just sayin’

Let’s face it most celebrities have a poor opinion of journalists - often justifiable I have to say; and, no doubt, your supercilious name-calling has done little to improve his perception.

Russell Crowe does not have problems
only with journalists! He is a coarse
pretentious bully!
Can anyone see as normal his reaction
to an out-of-order telephone at the
Mercer Hotel back in 2005?
The hotel receptionist Russell threw
the phone-fit at must still be picking
the flex out of his skull!!!

Unfortunately your silly unsubstantiated rant actually proves Mr Crowe’s point.
Time and again examples of poor reporting, gossip passed off as fact, hearsay and lies written as truth, people trashed and misrepresented.
But then you would know all about that, wouldn’t you Piers? Why not remind us how your own particular journalistic standards got you into trouble?

Yep…here we are:
BBC News:”Daily Mirror editor Piers Morgan has been sacked after the newspaper conceded photos of British soldiers abusing an Iraqi were fake.
In a statement the Mirror said it had fallen victim to a “calculated and malicious hoax” and that it would be “inappropriate” for Morgan to continue”
Mind you…who cares about the safety of a few soldiers when you have a self serving career as a tittle-tattler to consider. Russell Crowe is spot on about the likes of you…you and people like are responsible for the decline and fall of Newspapers in this country.

Any way as I was about to say Russell Crowe with his quizzical
boyish manly grin that melts female heats like snow in the sun! .
Love him or hate him he is a good actor
and leaves blood thirsty over zealous Mel Gibson for dead!
What puzzles me is why didn’t he just use his mobile phone
silly twit so much fuss over a few extra bucks for an international call?

PIERS, HELLO. NOW MY BLOD PRESSURE IS GETTING TIRED.RUSSELL.IT APPEARS IT IS ALL EGO. ALL ABOUT HIM. WHEN OR IF HE CARES,THEN HE’LL BEHAVE POSSIBLY TOLERABLE.UNTIL THEN,HE WILL CONTINUE TO USE WHAT HE CAN AND BE HOW HE IS. UNLESS THE OLD STATEMENT “NOTHING CHANGES WHEN NOTHING CHANGES”. SO THEN MAYBE RUSSELL ISN’T THE CULPRIT. IF I MISS SPELL I AM TIRED. WHEN WE ALLOW THINGS TO BE AS THEY ARE THEN, HMMM. SO RUSSELL MAY NEED A WAKE UP CALL OF NO BODIES HOME. IF IN FACT HIS BEHAVIOR IS WHAT IT IS.WHY WOULD ANYONE BE DEALING WITH IT. PLENTY OF OTHERS TO WRITE ABOUT. CIMBERLY

Russell Crowe is having a chuckle. He should realise that it comes with the job of being famous, unfortunately. If he doesn’t like it, he can retire and move to Cook Islands

Exactly! If you despise someone so much, why not just stay away period. But, he needs them. I don’t care how talented you are, you need pubicity and hype to get people to your movies. There is so much competition in acting. The only journalists that I dispise are those that lie and all but ruin one’s life just to make some bucks or sell more papers. That is criminal in my mind.
