Radio One DJ Chris Moyles and I don’t see eye-to-eye. Mainly because he’s about 4ft tall, so the only thing he sees when we meet is my kneecap.
This week the loudmouth lardbucket has been viciously laying into his critics for daring to suggest he might be on his way out of the Breakfast Show.
‘I’m not going anywhere!’ he yelled at his listeners. ‘Apart from anything else, there’s no-one else, I’m the best!’
And he is. At being a revolting, foul-mouthed, offensive braggart.
The problem for Moyles, as with his cronies like Jonathan Ross and Russell Brand, is that since that dreadful incident with Andrew Sachs, people don’t want gratuitously rude people any more on their airwaves.
Which is why he is beginning to lose his audience.
But Moyles also faces another, more pressing problem.
He’s just too old for Radio One. It’s supposed to be a hip young music station for kids.
Not a platform for a fat, middle-aged old northern bloke to settle scores and spit bile.
If Radio One are NOT thinking of firing him from the Breakfast Show, then they should be.

I don’t listen to Chris Moyles’s “work/ART” but I heard about his offensive joke regarding a (foreign) country. If Chris is a fan of jonathan ross, brand et al then he must be just another overweight old bag, lazy “man” = P***Y , like jonathan ross i.e. NOT ACTing his age.

Russell brand is more famous in america than you… and a thousand times more talented. jonathan ross is more entertaining than you. people under 40 like ross/brand/moyles. you are a snob who has no sense of humour or any sense of what is funny.

Finally Piers, you mention about Moyles spitting out bile. This brings me back to your column in the Mail on Sunday, where you’ve insulted Moyles, Ross, Graham Norton and others. You once called Graham Norton a “talentless mincing fool” and also mentioned that Norton was “too camp, bitchy and ’showbizzy’ for my taste”, adding that he has the world’s most irritating voice apart from Alan Carr.” Isn’t that slightly homophobic?

Simon, Chris Moyles, Jonathan Ross and Russell Brand, appear to think that humour can only be achieved by personal attacks.
There is no wit in what they say and surely this is the basis of all humour,I stopped watching BBC because of there prevalance in putting Mr Ross into programmes that had been extremely witty until his appearance ie they think it’s all over, for one.
It’s my understanding that it is no longer aired,because of this I am assuming that others feel the same way and I would like to ask if others do?.

Chris Moyles is nothing but a gob on a stick. He needs to keep his big flapper shut on occasion, asking for the moon tho, lol - he’s just so vile and rude, insulting his listeners. You never do that Piers, so why people are saying that you’re just as bad is beyond me. When I see him I just think, ‘MOVE OVER CHUNKY!!’

I totally agree with your comments about Chris Moyles…nobody has put it better! I’ve always had a strong dislike for him, not because of him being a “lardbucket” but because of his terrible presenting skills and overall rudeness and obnoxious nature. I too don’t understand the negative comments here about Piers. Piers Morgan is excellent!

I love the way people say Chris is rude. HELLO!!! Piers Morgan isn’t exactly the most charming person in the world! He can be extremely rude at times. He comes across as a right pratt on America’s Got Talent.
