21.55 A tough time to be a judge Shaheen vs MD Showgroup - an impossible choice if ever there was one.
Simon has to go first and picks MD Showgroup - the audience are up in arms
Amanda swings the other way and goes for Shaheen and there is real pressure from the studio.
Piers goes for Shaheen and MD Showgroup look distraught and Shaheen is overwhelmed by the result ahh bless him.
Shaheen Jafargholi goes through to the final!!!
21.53 Wait what is this… Stavros Flatley are through to the final!!!
21.50 Ant & Dec bring everyone back to the stage for the results and there are some very very nervous faces. Some great performances and it is very hard to see who is going to go through. In the judges’ roundup all three point to the uniqueness of the show and it certainly has been varied. So who gets the popular vote??
21.41 So everyone has performed - once again if you are in the UK get voting if not put your trust in our hands… what could go wrong??
21.34 Tears from Amanda as the Dad thanks his son for letting him take part - very very touching.
21.33 It’s Stavros time! The father and son duo are having a great time dancing all over the stage and as the lines open for voting Ant tries his hands at some of the moves - hilarious. Turns out the backing dancers used to work for the family restaurant - a nice family touch and all three judges want them in the final.
21.30 Floral Highnotes are the penultimate act of the night and one of the most unique of the competition. One sings, one arranges flowers and Simon buzzes very very early. The crowd gives a mixed reaction, Piers applauds their sophistication and the crowd starts booing even louder. Amanda sits on the fence but Simon doesn’t hold back and is very unimpressed by the flower arrangements.
21.23 Only 2 acts left tonight Twitter is the place to be (alongside here of course) Jenni Falconer thought MD Showgroup had too many members and iViva is debating which of Ant or Dec has the best tie!! - get involved by clicking their names.
21.18 The 34 members of MD Showgroup bring a little punk flair to the occasion as they rock out to Michael Jackson’s Beat It, Simon… loved it, he pinpoints the showmanship and passion of the group. Piers is impressed by their positivity and Amanda rounds out the judges’ views with a resounding yes.
21.11 Countryside time as the Barrow Boys are the fifth act this evening. With Union Jack decorated barrows they are dancing to Queen’s Don’t Stop Me Now. Simon buzzes again as the group lose a little composure and Piers follows up by hitting his buzzer. Amanda goes for another cow related gag but is thrilled with it. Both the male judges are disappointed and it is going to be tough but not impossible for them to go through tonight.
21.06 Half way through already, in Twitter land Jenni Falconer loved Shaheen and iViva has some great snappy analysis - get involved by clicking their names.
21.02 The first singer of the night is the youngest act as well, Shaheen who survived a false start at the auditions emits a voice far bigger than you could ever imagine. The studio audience are absolutely loving it. Piers is almost speechless (.. almost) and hails it the best singing performance of the semis. Amanda loves the maturity of the performance and Simon thinks that the choice was very hard but he nailed it, have we just seen a finalist?
20.55 Dancing siblings Ben and Becky are the third act tonight with Wilson Pickett’s Land of a 1000 Dances. It’s a very slick performance but Simon straight away cuts them down and suggests it was cold and we have the first tears of the night from Becky. Piers plays to the crowd and encourages them both with kind words and Amanda agrees calling it technically brilliant.
20.51 So we are a 1/4 of the way through over on Twitter Jenni Falconer’s dog is howling! Check her out here. Also catch up with iViva’s regular updates by clicking here
20.50 Kayode Oresanya comes out with his human saxophone act. Dressed in a very dapper white suit he gets the fastest buzz ever from Simon. Piers and Amanda join the crowd in waving their hands in the air but there is definitely some boos in the house. Amanda declares her love and Simon looks even more grumpy than he did yesterday but Piers is going the other way and and compares it to the invention of the guitar.
20.40 The first act on stage tonight is Harmony and they kick start the show with Cyndi Lauper’s Girl’s Just Want to Have Fun. They look like they are having the time of their lives and are laughing away. Piers really enjoyed it and Amanda tries to become the latest member of the group. Simon, unsurprisingly, didn’t like the singing but as a package he is fairly positive. A very upbeat start to the show and very very pink.
20.32 The Judges are here and Amanda is showing some leg… wow
20.30 … and we are off hosts Ant & Dec looking sharp again as they kick off this third semi final. Which two acts will be joining Susan Boyle, Diversity, Flawless and Shaun Smith? Let us know who you are backing in the comments below.

Yay 2 of my favourites are in the final Susan and Stavros. Pity I can’t vote from downunder.

Hi Piers. I was pleased that Stavros Flatley went through - a bit of variety at last. This is still to come, but I cannot comprehend why that somewhat obese stripper is in the semi finals and not that talented drummer. I also still wish Gareth had gone through. I thought Ben and Becky had a lot of talent but I took Simon’s point - they weren’t as good as in their first audition.Still, loking forward to the next show! All Best Wishes, Tracey.

Piers, You have upped your integrity by being open with Susan about your misconduct when you first saw her on stage. Simon too! That televised public appology to Susan has healed a lot of wounds worldwide…

I hope that Susan Boyle profits from her success. Considering the boost she has given to BGT and others, she deserves it!

Susan Boyle needs to go home to see her cat pebbles, even for a day, she has been away from him/her, as the cat is her only companion she is proberly anxious about Pebbles pining for her.
It is not silly, it will be therapy for Susan, my cat would pine for me if I was away for few days.
