The Hottest Hunk in the UK?????

More famed for his qualities as a newspaper editor and a talent show judge, Piers can today add a new award to the list as he’s been voted the UK’s Hottest Hunk by the reader’s of Woman’s Own magazine.
”This is the greatest accolade I’ve ever had in my life!” said Piers. “I’ve won newspaper and TV awards, but to be voted the UK’s hottest hunk by Woman’s Own readers is an amazing honour. I’m deeply flattered and grateful. Simon Cowell said he wasn’t worried about the poll, and was very overconfident. He was fifth last year, too, so it shows Simon’s going nowhere and I’m on top!”
Piers beat off competition from Simon, Gary Barlow, Daniel Craig and even David Beckham to win the ‘prestigious’ title but he’s not letting it go to his head just yet. “My girlfriend Celia will be as bemused as everyone else in Britain about this award. Of all the things she’s ever called me, I’ve never heard the phrase ‘hot hunk’ - it’s more likely to be ‘hot chunk’. She does actually call me ‘chunk’ as an affectionate nickname, which gets me down the gym in the morning to work out.”

Piers, if you read this, this is important!! Now I am worried, and I will tell you all why. Even The Telegraph in the UK- not one of the rags- is using the words ‘Susan Refused To Show Up FOr Rehersals”- People, get a clue!!! The Priory stint got her the empathy back in the UK- however, this negative slant can change people in a nano-second. Secondly,the start treatment is being reported ( of course she deserves it) However, this is not an opera tour- this is a ragtag collection of for the most part, kids and oddball acts. Oddball people will attend the tour venues to see those acts.
Susan could be Booed. Face it, it is likely.
Not by all of course, but some could boo her, reading in that she is acting like a Diva- the whole “Who does She think she is?” kind. I HOPE SHE DOES NONE OF THE TOUR. SOMEONE NEEDS TO WISE UP HERE ( SIMONS PRESS GUY) AND PUT OUT THE FIRES OF THIS SPECULATION- WILL SHE OR WON’T SHE- AND DO IT NOW. SAY SHE HAS EXHAUSTION STILL OR SOMETHING. SHE IS AGAIN BEING DANGLED IN THE WIND.

Well Piers don’t think it is all you.It was your gallantry towards Susan Boyle and your skill in defending her is what has won your points and put you higher in the public eye so don’t get too carried away with yourself will you.
It might be nice if someone came out now and explained to the public that Susan Boyle is kept busy getting ready to record for Simon Cowell’s big Album Launch and so deflect more flack coming her way because she is not turning up for reheasals for that road tour .Hope you are still on the job.Don’t drop the ball now it could be crucial to keep the gnawing hounds at bay.

We are dismayed to read that certain people are booing Susan at the BGT concerts. No doubt these are individuals or members of the media who are trying to provoke her and derail her performance and perhaps even cause her to quit. Can’t BGT make some effort to weed out these disruptive louts? Ant and Dec and you and Simon are not around now and she is with strangers. If she isn’t treated with the respect she deserves, then she would have every right to just pull out of the tour. Surely you don’t want to lose your main draw so please see that she is treated properly. Hope you and Simon have not just abandoned her and moved on to other things.

In my opinion, you’re one of them.
You may not be ‘chocolate box gorgeous’ like David Beckham but you have what us ladies call good old fashioned ‘British sex appeal’ which I feel far outweighs fleeting beauty, which fades oh so quickly.
A sexy / intelligent man always makes a show more watchable.
Trust me I’ve never been quite so into BGT or AGT until one of the judges became quite so interesting.
Whatever you’re doing - it’s obviously working.

That bl**dy tour is something that has to be done Susan Boyle needs to be kept in the public eye. Apart from them screaming approval and too much talk going on while she is singing
(something she hated at the karaoke bar in Blackburn ) just their way of showing appreciation ?.It seems just another trial by fire she has to endure..LOL Unless Simon Cowell wants another outburst where Susan

As we saw from the videos of Susan’s performances at Birmingham and Sheffield, many in the audiences are behaving like football hooligans and not proper concertgoers. Why on earth should Susan sing before the riff raff who are whistling and hooting and screaming and talking all the way through her performances? It’s clear they don’t want to hear beautiful music; it was more like they thought they were at a rock concert with the lights flashing back and forth. All of the above was no doubt intended to throw her off but they didn’t succeed because she sang better than ever.
We who have listened many many times to the videos of Susan’s performances in the talent contest and the live tour notice that the versions of I Dreamed a Dream and Memory have changed every time, leaving out or adding verses, changing the arrangements, etc. so she has had to cope with these numerous changes as well as all the other pressure and extreme audience distractions.
Susan’s music just does not fit this type of audience.
I also agree with the writer who said BGT should put on YouTube a proper video of Susan’s performances so that her millions of fans can hear her sing properly and try somehow to get rid of the crowd noise.

Well i’ve always thought you were pretty damned sexy Piers but when I saw the Burger King ad my temperature reached flame grilled level. IF that is your body (and MSN reports you are denying a body double was used) then the award is well and truly deserved. Shame the pefume sounds so cheap and tacky - I’d have thought you would have gone for something more classy.
