When is Susan singing?? Her fans on You Tube have been camped out on her video site waiting anxiously to hear when and where she will be singing. Those in the UK have bought tickets specifically to hear her sing and let us know as soon as she performs, if she feels able to do so. We’re so angry at the British Press and pray that maybe they’ll have an ounce of decency and let her do what she does best, and better than any other singer on the tour. According to the voting she was the best singer in the bunch, not one came even close in votes; in the singel digits to her 20.4%.
Hopefully she’ll be able to come stateside, at her own pace, where the parasitic british tabloids have absolutely no influence.
Wishing all the contestants the best. Hoping Susan will be treated with the same respect afforded the other contestants and the nonsense can stop.
To the British tabloids get a life and most of all get a heart. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥We love you Susan, and we wish you the best. We love you no matter what!!!♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

We heard our girl knocked it out of the ball park. youtube crashed and the fansite chat room was ablaze, they were toasting, doing the susan shimmy, and raising the roof. Whatever shows she can do, it’s up to her. Her health and welfare are firts and foremost. Just like for her audition, many expected her to fail. many did their best to make it happen, but, she’s a trooper. She has strength and fortitude far beyond we could ever imagine.

After watching a video of Susan’s performance tonight in Birmingham, there can be no doubt in anyone’s mind that she is a superstar already.
A talent like Susan’s comes but once in a lifetime, and I feel so privileged that her star shines in mine. I so look forward to being able to attend a live performance in the States, and fully intend to purchase every CD she chooses to release.

Can BGT please post a video of Susan Boyle’s performance at Birmingham. There is already one on YouTube of the full performance taken presumably by an audience member but the quality is understandable really bad so it doesn’t show Susan’s performance at its best and it would be more fair to her if people were watching a good-quality video than a very bad-quality one. There are so many of us worldwide who cannot see Susan live and will seek out any available videos.
Also the background music to I Dreamed a Dream at the live show is really bad so someone should try to improve on that before all the other shows.

To Tim above: Don´t believe what the rag tabloids have produced.. they harassed her to get the pictures, they are also lying when they tell what she has spoken or what really happened: the police came to drive THEM away, not for Susan´s sake. It´s all about selling their “newspapers”. A clever person NEVER believes what tabloids print out.
Tabloid journalists are getting valid music therapy now because they must listen to every Susan´s performance to be able to write something. That maybe some day causes that they are no longer enemies of the human race.

You are still the No.1 singer; the others didn’t even come close. Not one.The Press is jealous of your talent and fame. It kills them to see someone like rise above their level. Susan you won a long time ago. It’s time for you to rest and take a trip to USA. We are anxiously waiting for your CD and personal appearance on TV and all over these United States. We love you, nothing, no one will change that. You did good. Best singer in the bunch.♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ !!!! Take a good rest hon, and come on over.!!!! YOU ARE INDEED THE WINNER WHERE IT COUNTS, IN THE WORLD MARKET YOU WILL SELL A LOT OF CDS.!!!
Susan’s vidoes are being uploaded and viewed no matter the quality. You tube crashed when all her fans were trying to get info on her first tour performance.
As much as we love watching her we worry that she is being pushed above the limits. We realize she is the core of the show, all the fans online say they bought tickets mainly to see her, but, ther well being is of utmost concern.
The trashbloids are out for blooed. Good for Susan to decide to not let them keep her down.

Tim, please get a life…..I suspect your sweet mother was never referred to as a “hairy angel” by the press - front page and all; of which I find very offensive. In fact, given your comment, if your mother had been refered to a name like this, again, I suspect she would not have to swear like a sailor ’cause you would do it for her.
In fact, are we really sure she did any of the things the tabloids in Britain said she did?????????? I am sitting in Canada, and followed Britains papers and reporting via the internet, and I have to say I am very disappointed and appalled at how the media treated Ms. Susan Boyle.
Please get a life or at least attempt to see the big picture.

Hi Piers,is this the naked transformation resulting from Susan’s touch? Gees, hope you don’t show more because that’s intimate and private!Susan stands for the new holiness we all ache for! Some remarks on Susan:I watched all the tour videos and felt that the Glasgow rendition was as natural and powerful as her debut on BGT.By and large there are reasons for that.I mean to have noticed this:Susan should be given time to accomodate to the audience before she performs, thus assuring her that she’s truly welcome coz before she was wrongly ill-treated.This would be something like just talking a minute or two with the spectators or perhaps even just only with the person who introduces her on the stage- before performing. She knows, we all know that she’s good BUT it has taken years for people to give her full recognition. That isn’t quickly forgotten to the heart.During the first audition the “questioning scene” gave her time to gather herself. The same thing happened in Glasgow: She took time, looked into the audience, enjoyed the audience’s applause for a wee while, reassuring them (silently)â€I’am here†BEFORE singing (just like she had told the judges on the 1st audition) - and thus being reassured (in whatever manner) “We’re here just for you - come what may” -an experience she lacked unrighteously over the years. Then she began to sing, making her rendition utmost perfect. She nailed the show as Amanda tends to say.But former experience with people was negative - she does not care and things went well but please don’t forget her past. It’s crucial.Remember: she had a difficult start from birth till she got to bgt and finally got appropriate appreciation = stardom. But before then she had unjustly experienced hell on earth, although she is very good, a superstar as you say.
These things work on one’s mind, even then when we know that all the worst is past and gone.So this thing is always there inside, although it isn’t her true nature. She’s jovial and talented by nature. Remember she missed her first note on the 2nd talent show - that was coz of the anxiety she’d always experienced. And she did not want that anymore. That fear influenced the performance. And fear is still there because her album is not out yet. Before she sang I’ld hoped she’ld be given time to talk, joke etc = self-assurance. Once gathered she’s a rocket! Susan loves people and fun so please always give her a time to talk to the audience,to accomodate = self-assurance = healing the pain and getting hold of the situation before she sings. All superstars do that. It’s like warming up - so let her be natural, let her talk, joke, laugh with people and then sing. I bet she’ll never be nervous again and will not need to rest. The thing ist: people want to see and hear her sing so she should always be there. She’s the tough type as you say and she loves singing, so do let her get in “contact†with the spectators because those first few minutes give her inner protection thus allowing her to eventually totally defy the unconscious fear of being ridiculed or of failing. And, after all her bad experiences earlier, failing signifies and stands for the horrible past - and that’s a nightmare she does not want to relive. So give her the chance to talk, joke = to always make a good, new, true start defying the bad subconsciously present past.Off course she does not have to go into the crowd but please let her acclimatize to the audience just as she did in that short conversation with Simon, Amanda and you before singing. I believe that will let her powerful voice just roll, she won’t forget anything, won’t miss her notes - und she will rock the audience and once absolutely certain (in the heart and mind) she will not need the resting from shows anymore because singing for crowds is her world.
Caroline
By the way:let’s joke or speak truth: why don’t you just stand up and tell SuBo you are more than just impressed by her inner beauty. That would be better than seductive pictures and so on. I would suspect there’s more to this than just commercials, man! The direct message is always more easier to handle than the underline one. Be brave. Strong humble natural women with talent like strong, brave, humble men, Piers. Now: Jokes are jokes, jokes can be hidden truths. So let me joke or speak truth. Be honest, Piers!

I was extremely disappointed to read what Simon said to Extra that Susan wouldn’t have made it onto X Factor because there is no live audience at the audition but only judges.
It makes it seem that Susan wouldn’t have made it past the BGT audition if she had had to face the judges alone without having a live audience response to influence them. It means the judges alone would not have thought her to be good enough.
What a thing to come out with now!!!

After watching a grainy show on youtube and the nonstop hooting of the audience. You coundn’t enjoy Susan sing anyway. I would not want to go to a show if it was across the street and I got a free ticket.
On the days Susan doesn’t feel like singing, She should just sing “Happy Birthday” and “How much is that doggie in the Window” because nobody is listening anyway. She might as well consentrate on the CD. period. Because U.K. audiences apparently ddon’t know how to shut up.

The press criticize so much when Susan misses a performance. BGT should make it clear to the press than other acts miss performances also. Have read 7 acts have missed performances thus far. These acts are not expected to be able to perform at every single performance. Even the youngest ones are missing shows. But it is up to BGT to do a better job of getting the facts out there.

Piers,
Is there anyone close to Susan helping her with her music? Susan has a natural gift, but on this tour when she is singing “Dream” she comes to the line “but he was gone when autumn came” and she sings it with an overly gutteral affect that is too much. I understand why she is using it, but the degree of it is not pleasant to listen to. I know I risk the wrath of others by daring to make any critique of Susan and I would’ve posted this in a private email if I saw one for you because I do not want to hurt Susan’s feelings in any way. Susan’s voice is amazing and I want the very best for her, but what kind of friend says nothing when something really needs to be said?

I saw Susan’s Wembley show on the net. It was great to see her smiling and blowing kisses. I hear that she had to start one of the songs over (I forget if it was the evening or matinee show) because the crowds applause to welcome her on stage was so loud that she couldn’t hear her queue to start her song. Anyone know who those kisses were to? They were sitting to Susan’s right.
Great to hear all went so well.

THIS MESSAGE IS FOR TIM, WHO WROTE ON JUNE 13 AT 2:56PM.
I’m assuming that your “prima donna” title applied to Susan is meant to be derogatory. In addition, any one person who believes the tabloid garbage is of questionable intelligence and motivation.
You dear mother may have been a saint. Now, as far as you are concerned…may the bird of paradise fly up your nose and shut your critical mouth from the inside. Can’t say I think you are much better than a tabloid rag. After all, you are doing the very same things that they do! So God bless you and keep you…and consider stopping the stone throwing.(unless you are without sin, of course.)

I’ve been fascinated by Susan’s phenomenal success. It’s such a Cinderella story and the horrible stepmother and stepsisters are embodied in all of the insensitive , even cruel remarks in the media and on the Internet. I’ve always believed that if you have nothing good to say, the kindest and wisest thing to do is to keep your mouth shut
I love watching Susan perform and think she has a powerful and lovely voice. Since I live in Maryland, I didn’t know about BGT until her story was covered here in the news. I really hope she’ll perform here in the States and that a CD will be out soon. I don’t think there will be a problem with sales.
To carry the Cinderella analogy a little further, I can envision a Prince who will appreciate her special personality, kindness, and sense of fun. She may meet him if she gets out of her tiny village and sees more of the world. 48 is still young.
I will be watching AGT tonight for the first time…thanks to Susan! I know she won’t be on, but I wouldn’t have known about it without her .

I think the Cinderella story has played itself out and it is time Simon Cowell ackmowledged Susan’s star status and provided her with a decent wardrobe advisor and dressmaker designer at least to do all her clothes for her and help her with her wardrobe on and off the stage. That grey lame dress is getting boring and she should have a few
changes at least.
Otherwise drop out of these tours and just start recording and see how big a turn out there will be then. It would be interesting to note.
She would probably find it hard to shop with out being recognised these days.
It is about time you all stepped up to the plate and gave her some recognition and a few real perks isn’t it.
June 25, 2009 at 1:19 pm
molinon says
A 2 million apartment, fleet of limos, new wardrobe and makeover and transportation of her cat aren’t enough perks? What about the others? I don’t see them getting perks. Susan is not the only performer on the BGT tour although some would like to think so. The Susan Boyle fan club is getting a little too radical and demanding ramming her down everyones throats. She doesnt agree with everyone and not everyone wants to call her a star.
June 25, 2009 at 10:22 pm
bluewren says
Ok molinon whoever you are, let her withdraw and see what happens with the rest of your “stars” holding the fort.
Another thing the producer who copped that glass of water I’d like to know who he/she was and exactly what was said to Susan in that ctritical and sensitive moment to cause her to react like that.Perhaps just lucky they didn’t get the glass as well?
They had better watch themselves they are more expendable right now that Susan is.
I’d say there is not that much support from all of his staff for her as Simon Cowell would like to think.Did they haul that dress out of the wardrobe archives for her?
What new wardrobe? How much does it cost to transport a cat tho I thought that was a great idea.
The Flat was a necessity under the circumstances.
An advisor for her everyday wear. Just an everyday dressmaker with good skills and knowledge. Why a fleet of limo’s?
Susan’s fans are travelling across the world to hear her sing ,wouldn’t knock them if I were you.

To Molinon
Even though I am fan of Susan I can be objective on that. You must understand that others acts didn’t get the world global attention + the media that she got. For that reason, the BGT couldn’t let her in a hotel where she would have paparazzi around again and again. She did need protection on this issue, privacy as much as possible. What do you mean “makeover”. For Godsake it is only a haircut, and of course make up. It’s a show! What’s wrong with enhancing your look?
Finally, agreeing with everyone is impossible and it’s OK like that. I sincerely hope that she will understand that, so she can go on with her career.
June 26, 2009 at 3:01 am
Shirley says
Well, molinon, I see you’re still spewing your anti-Boyle venom. If you don’t like her, don’t watch her, AND it’s not BGT providing the perks. It’s Simon Cowell’s record company SYCO with which Susan has a contract. These “perks” are part of Susan’s compensation which she will realize after the tour has ended July 5.

Piers: Have you and Simon investigated the potential hazards of consistent exposure to stage fog chemicals? As an amateur singer, this fog ravages my bronchials, and causes laryngitis. Please do everything possible to insure protection for Susan’s voice.
My former comments do not appear to have reached you, so I reiterate: God bless you for your loving, genuine support of Susan. God is using your support to encourage Susan’s heart, and free her spirit to share her incredible personality and talent with the world.

As to why Susan should get perks the others don’t. She is the one who raised the show’s ratings hugely, and will make piles of money for Simon. She has also made the 3 judges popular in America which is no small feat. The others are wonderful, but were not the ones who caused the show to garner worldwide attention.

Anyone can take singing and voice lessons and get onstage and do what SuBo does. She belts out a couple of tunes and raises her arms a few times. Woweeeeeeeeeeeeee.

I too was disapointed in the noisy crowd but as a person who actually attended pointed out when you are there it doesn’t seem that bad and the atmosphere of enthusiasm and love and applause is something one gets caught up in it is a wonderful experience and then there is SUSAN, singing in her eliment like “home at last ” just where she belongs.
The makeover is turning her into a glamour puss not sure I like that. But…well it is promising.
Time for a little change of song and wardrobe I think. But just my opinion.;-D.*big smile*

Memory and I Dreamed A Dream are both very powerful and emotional songs to begin with. It doesnt matter who sings them - they both create strong emotions which brings tears to the eyes. Both musicals have been playing for a very long time because they are so powerful. When SuBo sings those songs you feel the same as your would if you had seen the musicals live sung by someone else. Thats why I say SuBo is mediocre. She doesnt make me feel any different. Now with Diversity Ive never seen anything like it and that makes me crave for more.

Piers and Simon
In case you don’t know it, Susan is the big draw of the BGT tour show. We are not blind and we can hear the fans cheering. In my opinion Susan won the top spot on BGT, big time. (Take a look at the ratings they got and what a nice USA promotion for Amanda Holden.) I heard that the voting phone numbers were posted wrong on the TV; however, we will never know. Simon, Syco and who ever manages Susan, have not yet done their part to take care of her. For example: all acts are taking time off and the rag papers aren’t ripping them apart, only Susan. Simon should have announced that time off is allowed and expected on the tour. Simon sounds like he is defending himself for not taking care of Susan, because he knows that she wasn’t protected enough before the finals. Your managers are allowing the media to use trashy, negative, horrible words about Susan and don’t even stop it. And, if they were truly watching out for Susan, we would see some form fitting clothing on Susan. We wouldn’t be seeing that boring gray dress throughout the whole tour. —- Another unfornaturely mistake, I bet Susan’s performances aren’t even being video recorded separately.—- We want to see these professionally done. It’s too bad we only get to see these shows through someone’s phone. Simon and Piers, you must know that we will watch them any way we can see them. You know that Susan has a lot of very devoted fans. How about helping her out a little more, we would really appreciate it. Thanks.

What’s happeded to Piers no latest news on Susan’s successes on the tour. Has it all become too much for him and he has retired to the Priory?

There are no recent updates on Susan’s progress Piers. This is not good her fans are eagerly devouring very poor videos on Utube and from fans personal videos from the BGT concerts they attended.
Lovingly but mostly not expertly taken.
So what are you doing can you not even get a decent video update from the tour to post here that is if you are still here?

Hello anyone home? Where is Piers? Don’t tell me
he is vacationing while Susan is touring and working hard
to emolliate the Press and her nay Sayers and bring home the bacon for
Simon Cowell and his cohorts.. all alone’
That’s not fair is it? Not even a decent video here for her fans to see
as she performs to standing ovations as many of her fans
have attested & reported wonderful stuff.
As for her wardrobe while she is performing no style no colour
no changes. But the beauteous Amanda is dressed by top designers.
All she has done is sit ,look beautiful and smile and judge.
As Calamero would say sweetly “it’s an injustice an injustice :-(.!
Oh I suppose Simon Cowell has made sure he is on hand Mnnnn?
While Amanda is in America on Talk shows promoting her favourite English produce and basking in the welcome mat never afforded her before Susan won the heart of America, for BGT.

Hollie.. You are a true talent and professional. Piers, Simon and Amanda said so at the Semi and the Final. You are the light in the darkness of the competition and you are so underated by many, I’m dissapointed that you have not had as much limelight as Susan as yes she is talented but I beleive she has a darker side to her psychy, mouthing off etc. You are level headed, you have taken things on board and proved your worsed critics wrong, especially over 24 times during the BGT live tour. You are a wonderful person with a wonderful voice, your beauty and presence are god given, you truly have British spirit and I can’t wait to hear more of you via CDs etc..Love ya x

I am very disappointed that the British press are ignoring Susan’s many great performances and wonderful crowd reactions. They were so eager to report when she missed a few performances (without reporting performances missed by other acts) but when she performs to rave reviews and standing ovations, which in fact is every single time she has performed without exception, the press are nowhere to be found. And why isn’t Max Clifford on the job to ensure the facts get out there. The local reviews of her performances have included words any professional would dream to hear: stunning, breath-taking, etc. Even from the bad-quality videos, her fans have been able to appreciate how wonderfully she is performing at every stop. So can someone give Susan a fair break and get the word about how great she is performing out there!
Piers, you know these people so push them to do the right thing by her.

Hollie is amazing, I have been to watch her at Manchester and Nottingham and she was unbeleivable. This girl has got a very bright future ahead of her. All the finalists were exceptional this year but I have to say that 10 year old girl was phenomenal throughout the competition. She showed she had balls of steel on that Semi final night.. and waht a performance on the Final, Who else could have done that?! Nobody! Hats off to you Hollie. She has the most pure voice, I could listen to her every day. Best of british to you girl.. When is her album coming out piers? let us know please.

Yes, I too have scanned the ‘dailies’ for some recognition of Susan’s success on the BGT (?)carnival
down and around the British Isles.
Piers and Simon are conspicuous by their absent efforts to obtain decent video recordings put on You Tube for all to enjoy. As others have said above, without Susan see how much interest the tour would have received!

Hi Piers,
Love how you nailed Susan’s story. I had never heard of any of you till She sang, and knocked it into the next galaxy. When she cuts her CD please have her record the original IDAD from the auditon. It’s the best, and I think most of her fans agree. Please pass this along to Simon.

BGT could have made a fortune selling DVD’s of Susan’s performances. Why didn’t they? We have to depend on the loving fans doing their best to film her on their cell phones. Some are good, some not.
Have no interest in the others, just Susan.

Many in Ireland were travelling to it hoping Susan would be performing
and were thrilled to find that she was, many said they were only interested
in going to hear Susan sing and her reception was a thrilling ovation.Another triumph
for the Irish/ Scottish lass. They said her singing was superb and she looked wonderful. Her fan base reaches far and wide so get on with those Album
Simon Cowell,we are all looking forward to them. But don’t rush it Oh no we want it to be Susan
at her best. .

Lol. Molinon you still here? You just make me laugh Diversity? ROFL You think Susan Boyle is mediocre just because you yourself are mediocre seriously you have no taste.
Thankfully you are in the minority.
Now if you had said Hollie or Jamie Pugh,I’d have a little more respect. Hollie with her affected English and Jamie Pugh with his hang dog attitude and baggy pants were both blown out of the water by Susan Boyles perfect performance great presence and that IT factor that only stars have.
Given time to grow and develop Hollie should make it one day. Jamie Pugh should listen to Simon Cowell and work on his self esteem issues he has a great voice.
Love light and laughter to you molinon.

30 Sept 09 - What has happened to Shaun Smith since BGT etc. I know he went back to school to sit his exams. What is his choice, RAF or a life as a pop star? What has Simon Cowell got in store for him?
All we hear of is Susan Boyle!
