Another star studded week

September 21, 2009

Another busy week in the world of one Mr. Piers Morgan.

The highlight was the huge finale of this season’s America’s Got Talent. 25 million people tuned into see who would be crowned the winner of a very hard fought show. As well as the winner there was a certain lady that gained more than a few column inches over the weekend.

The Britain’s Got Talent runner up, Susan Boyle showed what she was made of as she delivered a stunning rendition of the Rolling Stones’ Wild Horses. Wrought with emotion and a stirring arrangement Susan gave us an insight into why her soon to be released album I Dreamed A Dream is already a no.1 on pre order.

Whilst out in the US Piers found time to meet up with acting legend Sylvester Stallone to talk about his new film The Expendables which features him, Dolph Lundgren, Bruce Willis, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Mickey Rourke. In his other weekly column for the Mail on Sunday Piers has his target set firmly on the footballer authorities as he questions the seemingly out of step punishment of former Arsenal player Adebayor compared to other players who has brought the game into disrepute. He also finds time to give his views on the latest controversy to rock F1 and applaud the sheer audacity of Roger Federer. To read Piers column click here.
