Piers Tackles Vinnie
November 10, 2009
Missed Life Stories with Vinnie? Now’s your chance to catch up!
Tough tackling self confessed hardman turned Hollywood actor is the final episode of Piers Morgan’s Life Stories.
Born in Watford, Vinnie Jones was infamously told he was to small to play football professionally but a career that has spanned top flight clubs as well as representing Wales at international level seems to tell a different story. Vinnie can with no sense of exaggeration be called one of the most controversial footballer sof his generation. With 12 red cards and what seemed an impossible feat to best he recieved one of the fastest bookings of all time (just 3 seconds into a game against Man City he recieved a yellow card for up ending Niall Quinn). Yet it wouldn’t be far to say Vinnie has spent a lifetime getting away with murder on the pitch, he’s also done it on the silver screen. He has held star roles in Brit flicks like Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and Snatch right through to US blockbusters like X-Men 3 and Swordfish with John Travolta. In this exclusive 1 hour interview with Piers Morgan, Vinnie will be talking about his recent US court case, living abroad, acting, football and much much more.

Quick question… wanted to find out artist/song of the music clip was that was played during the story telling of the 2008 attack on Vinnie in America??
Oh, and liked how Vinnie defended being typecase in movie roles… spot on really, and made me chuckle, yep… we def all want to see him playing hard-man roles, he does it so well… if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it Vin!
Enjoyed the interview!

Does anyone know the background song used when they show the clip of his family talking about how he got glassed in a bar? I am trying to think of the song and it is bugging the hell out of me! Any ideas? Extra respect if you can tell me what film/films it was in?
