Another Busy Week…
January 18, 2010
So, aside from beaming onto television sets across Britain in order to reveal the stupendous lifestyle afforded to the inhabitants of some of the world’s most luxurious locations, what’s Piers been up to recently?
Well dear reader, delighted you asked! It seems in-between digital sparring with former Deputy Prime Minister and current ‘frenemy’ John Prescott, Piers has found time to see the Golden Globe sweeping epic Avatar, co host The Today Show on NBC, realise he’ll forever be playing catch up to Susan Boyle and lament the passing of the Hoff from the America’s Got Talent panel.
Read all about the above in more detail by clicking HERE.
And after, be sure to check out Piers’ reaction to the last seven days of sporting news. This week, Piers throws Gerrard into the frying pan after Liverpool’s disastrous start to the season, expresses his disgust at steroid- abusing US baseball star Mark McGwire’s ’sniffling’ apology, and pours tremendous sympathy upon Freddy Flintoff after the news that he needs yet another operation on his knee.
Check it out HERE.
Enjoy!

Mr. Morgan,
Susan Boyle is big in the US (Over 3 x platinum with minimal promotion)and Japan, where’s she’s climbing up the charts after her New Year’s Eve performance, & 8 million cd’s sold worldwide. But the Brit Awards “academy” of “music industry professionals”, (which includes yobs from college newspapers) did not give her one single nomination. Not one.
They’ve shot themselves in the foot. If Susan Boyle had been nominated for any category, the show would have been watched on the internet by live feed around the world, & the other acts nominated would have had world wide exposure, just as you, Amanda Holden, Ant & Dec, etc. have become known because of your association with Susan. Now we outside the UK could care less. The Brit Awards have lost credibility, viewers, and potential customers.
No wonder the UK music industry is tanking. Susan won’t be hurt; neither will Simon because we’ll keep buying her albums for as long as she puts them out. At least you got it right.
industry is tanking.
