UPDATE: The show went down a storm and you can now watch it on the ITV player by clicking here
Great news, Piers Morgan’s Life Stories will be returning for another six episodes in March on ITV1. In addition there will be a one off before the season starts, with a very very special guest.

Prime Minister Gordon Brown will be joining Piers Morgan for an indepth hour long special on ITV1.
Piers said “I have been trying to secure a Life Stories interview with the Prime Minister since the series was first devised, because he is an absolutely perfect subject for the show. He’s one of the most famous people in the country, yet remains a man of mystery to many. I have known Gordon Brown for over 15 years - he is a man who has enjoyed great triumph, suffered terrible tragedy, and will soon face the biggest challenge of his career.”

I hope you are going to have Cameran Clegg on your show considering there is a election due, I think it would be wrong to have just one

At least there is one reporter who is happy to interview Mr Brown, and be compassionate to him unlike the great BBC’s Andrew Marr and Nick Robinson and other reporters who find every opportunity to drag him down.

The PM comes across, a norman family man, with feelings and emotions. As a father myself, my respect for the PM has considerably increased. Well done PM, and good luck with the elections………..at least you have good policies to go with it.

Gordon Brown is mercilessly savaged by people who can never explain tangible things that he has done wrong. Gordon Brown has been a strong Prime Minister during an incredibly hard time and comes across as a hugely compassionate man. This is exactly the sort of man we want to be leading our country.

When will the interview with Gordon Brown be re-televised?

It was compassionate, entertaining, brilliant television. We saw a side of Gordon Brown that we have not seen before. Thank you for giving him an opportunity to reveal himself as a caring, compassionate man. I am only sorry it was shown so late when fewer people perhaps would watch than otherwise.

I thought the interview with Gordon Brown was wonderful.
It showed Gordon Brown in a human, intelligent and light way.
I think Piers Morgan (who I did not like much previously), conducted a sensitive, intelligent and delightful to watch interview.
It has made a huge difference in my opinion of both the Prime Minister and him.
Thanks
