After a short break, Piers is back! Find what he's been up to since his wedding!

A quick catch-up with what Piers Morgan has been up to during his eventful past few weeks which he writes about in the fabulous Sunday column in Live magazine…

The big news of the month is of course that Piers and the beautiful Celia got married in a fairly low key event, however that didn’t stop the paparazzi from swarming the newlyweds, much to Mr Morgan’s annoyance (who would ever send paparazzi to cover a wedding eh? Curse these tabloid editors!). Next there was lunch beside the picturesque St Tropez coastline where he had a brief encounter with the ever-glorious Joan Collins.

As if that wasn’t enough, the month also saw him catch up with Susan Boyle, where Piers and her shared a few laughs as he attempted to sing and, well, murder a classic festive tune…

As always with Piers, the sweet is peppered with the sour as he was shocked to find out that the famous Madame Tussauds had ranked him one of the least wanted people to kiss, hard luck Piers - looks like you’ll just have to make do with your beautiful wife!

Piers and Celia further celebrated their wedding by throwing a star-studded bash, to read some of the highlights CLICK HERE and see what he got up to next!

Ps - in case you missed it last time, be sure to check out Piers’ in depth look at the glamour, money, and ruthlessness that permeates the home of show business in Piers Morgan On Hollywood - tonight at 8pm on ITV1. You can read his take on LA by clicking HERE!

Enjoy!

Piers' weekly columns feature stars on the rise, stars having a moan and stars who need to pack their bags.

In his weekly columns for the Mail Piers’ spotlight shines its light on three very different stars:

Piers caught up with Katherine Jenkins, a former guest on Life Stories, and is pleased to report she is exhibiting all the hallmarks of being yet another Brit to make waves in the US. Also in the latest Insider column Piers confronts the Alan Carr issue - and Mr. Morgan has some very short words for the self named Chatty Man. To read the full article click here.

Whilst over in the Sports column Piers takes time to poke the embers of the dismal England World Cup campaign and comes to one conclusion - Arrivederci Don Capello.
Question Time, Ramsay, and the passing of not one, but two great men...

This week, Piers talks about his appearance on Question Time with old sparring partner and king of spin Alastair Campbell, and explains the definition of a rather rude word to David Dimbleby.

There’s also a rude awakening for Gordon Ramsay, anecdotal evidence of what a man the late great Dennis Hopper was, and Piers mourns the passing of ‘one of the sweetest and most sensationally talented’ singers he’s ever met: The ‘Black Pavarotti’ Siphiwo Ntshebe, or ‘Sip’, who sadly died weeks before he was due to perform at the opening ceremony of the world cup.

In sport, Piers laments Rio’s passing of the England Captaincy, but celebrates Gerrard’s taking on the responsibility.

Rafa may have left, but who should take over as manager of Liverpool? Read as Piers puts forward his argument for the ideal candidate. And finally, Piers pays tribute to one of the finest sights in women’s professional tennis.

Read our round-up of the BGT final and let us know what you thought of all the acts...

After weeks of the best (and the worst!) talent in Britain strutting their stuff on our TV screens, gymnastic troupe Spelbound fought off the rest of the competition to become Britain’s Got Talent champions in Saturday night’s live final. The acrobatic group impressed all the judges and obviously pleased the public too, as they won the most votes to take the title. Dance duo Twist and Pulse came second and young drummer Kieran Gaffney won a deserved third place. All the acts did well on the night, winning lots of praise from Piers, Simon and Amanda, but Spelbound really pulled it out of the bag with their most daring routine yet.

Simon caused controversy by suggesting that wonder-dog Chandi had perhaps had enough of the spotlight and should retire, but owner Tina put him in his place, together with the booing live audience…! Singing accountant Christopher Stone really impressed the trio as he has become so much more confident since his first audition and they all predicted a big future for him in music. The same went for Liam McNally - the 14-year old from Manchester with the voice of an angel. He’d only had 24 hours to prepare for the final as his semi-final wasn’t until Friday, but he wowed the crowd nonetheless and was told by all the judges that the definitely had a huge career in singing ahead of him. Great-gran Janey Cutler got off to a shaky start in her rendition of ‘Non, Je Ne Regrette Rien (’No Regrets’) but she pulled it together for the second half and really gave it her all, with Simon calling her a seriously ‘gutsy lady’.

Young boyband Connected and impressionist Paul Burling also did well, and dancer Tobias Meade performed an amazing routine, inspired by vampires and zombies. There was an awful lot of talent on the stage, and Ant and Dec did a great job of keeping the contestants’ spirits up as they nervously appealed to the public to vote for them. However, it was Spelbound’s night and with all the judges saying that they should open the Olympics when London hosts the event in 2012, it seems like they have a big, bright future ahead of them.

Who did you want to win BGT 2010? Were Spelbound the best on the night? Let us know what you think by leaving a comment below!

Did the right acts go through in last night's BGT semi-final? Let us know what you think!

Last night’s BGT semi-final was a bit of a dance-fest with The Fusion, Ice, Tyler Patterson and Twist and Pulse all hoping to pop and lock their way into the final. Solo double-act Mark James hoped to win over the crowd with his half-man, half-woman duet, The Shaolin Team performed some pretty dangerous - and uncomfortable-looking! - moves and Emile Harris tried to sing his way to victory. However, it was 81 year-old great granny Janey Cutler who stole the public’s heart and won the vote.

It was then up to the judges to choose between Twist and Pulse and The Fusion. Despite Simon’s change of heart about the dancing girl group, whom he had disliked in previous rounds, Piers and Amanda felt that Twist and Pulse had more of a chance of winning so the boys will join Janey in Saturday night’s big final.

On top of all that excitement, Miley Cyrus performed her new single and showed the contestants how to rock the stage!

What did you think of last night’s performances? Did you think Emile was right to sing his own song, or did that cost him a place in the final? And most importantly - who will win?!?!

Do you think the right people went through to Saturday's Live Final? Have your say on last night's BGT now.

It was a jam-packed night of performances for the third night of the live Britain’s Got Talent semi finals, with not only a massive 9 acts but also a live performance from Pixie Lott.

Attempting to dance their way in to the final on Saturday were Starbursts, 75-year-old Jimmy Forde, Peridot and Phillip Grimmer in his homage to Madonna. Singing/playing their hearts out were Christopher Stone the singing accountant, The Arrangement and 10-year-old Chloe Hinkbottom and then of course, there was the rib-tickling impressionist Paul Burlington. The Harry Hill lookalike managed to once again laugh the socks off everyone watching his performance and sailed through to the final. Joining him to fight it out for the pretigous title of 2010 BGT winner will be Christopher Stone.

Do you think the right acts went through? Are Peridot too similar to last year’s winner’s Diversity? Let us know

Share your thoughts on the second of the Britain's Got Talent live semi-finals.

Last night’s live semi-final was a mixed bag of performers, with singers (Connected, Neil Fullard) dancers (Taboo, The Ruby Girls, Michael Fayombo Jnr and Snr) plus comedy singer and pianist Kev Orkian, Lady Gaga impersonator Maxxie, and then of course, Tina and her dancing rescue dog Chandi.

Despite extremely well rehearsed routines the dancing groups didn’t go down too well which was s surprise, and the judges even felt that perhaps Michael Fayombo Jnr should have performed without his dad!

The runaway star of last night’s show was definitely Chandi, and it was the first time animal lover Simon Cowell was going to witness her and owner Tina’s act. Luckily the pair went down an absolute storm with the judges, audience and viewers at home which saw them sail through to Saturday’s live final. Simon confessed his love for Chandi! Mini boyband Connected narrowly beat Neil Fullard through to the final and the Manchester teens all burst in to tears when the announcement was made.

What did you think of last night’s show? Do you think 34-piece dance troupe Taboo should have gone through after all their hard work? What about Lady Gaga a like Maxxie? Do you think we will be seeing more of him?
