Piers sorts the wheat from the chaff - which celebs really count in Britain today?

Piers has broken routine this week. Instead of serving up a delectable helping of inside gossip straight from the glamorous, showbiz world in which he inhabits - Piers has created an exhausting list of the 100 most important and exciting British celebrities alive today.

From Robert Pattinson to Andy Murray, Piers goes through them all - who will be at number one? Click HERE to find out and start the countdown.

And, while the Oscars have been and gone for another year, Piers has created his own version dedicated to the wonderful world of sport. Who will be the big winners (and the very big losers)?

Don't miss the massive show opener to Season 3 of Piers Morgan's Life Stories: SIMON COWELL!

Simon Cowell is set to reveal all about his life behind closed doors in the new series of Piers Morgan’s Life Stories.

Cowell will be the first guest in the series and will open up about his family, his business and his love-life in the exclusive interview for ITV1.

The third series of Life Stories will see Piers grilling six celebrities including Cowell, Kym Marsh, Geri Halliwell and Joan Collins about their lives, loves, highs and lows.

Filmed in front of a studio audience, each show is devoted to one guest, looking back over their personal lives and their careers and will include interviews with their friends, families and colleagues.

Piers said: ‘I think this is the best line-up I’ve had so far. It’s hard to think of a stronger possible start than Gordon Brown and Simon Cowell, obviously. One is the country’s most powerful man, and the other’s the Prime Minister. But the rest of the names are all compelling stars too, who have led varied, successful, and occasionally very traumatic lives. This series has more laughs, tears, and genuinely moving moments than even the previous two series. I think this show has now become what I always hoped it would be - the place for the biggest celebrities to come and give the best interview of their lives.’

Previously Piers has secured interviews many household names including prime minister Gordon Brown, Katie Price, Dannii Minogue, Cilla Black, Ulrika Jonsson, Sheila Hancock and Sir Richard Branson. To check out some of the pictures click here.

Piers struts his stuff on the catwalk and gets 'lamped' by Kate Moss...catch up on the latest now!

This week, Piers enters the fabulous world of fashion (daaaahhhhling) and fulfils a life-long ambition by walking down the catwalk as a male model all in the name of charity. Piers’ old sparring partner Naomi Campbell and the Prime Minister’s wife Sarah Brown threw an all out style spectacular in the ‘Fashion For Relief Haiti’ show, and managed to raise over one million pounds in the process.

Click HERE to read Piers’ account of a very glamorous night, and in particular how he ended up getting ‘lamped’ by none other than Kate Moss….only Piers.

It’s not all fashion, frocks and feminine frills however, as Piers’ rounds up the latest news from the world of sport and offers up his scathing opinion of (who else) John Terry. Click HERE to read all the latest now.

Piers has a few choice words for the greatest golfer of all time. Read the latest from Piers' world now!

Simon Cowell engaged, Susan Boyle’s rather incredible humility and a few scathing words for Fern Britton. Piers’ Sunday column is the usual round up of the surreal goings on within the world of showbiz - and includes a rather tasty little preview of what we’re to expect when Simon sat in the ‘Life Stories’ chair! Read the whole story HERE.

And, be sure to check out Piers’ rather damning reaction to Tiger Wood’s ‘heart-felt’ apology last week. Click HERE to read all about it.

Gordon Brown, Simon Cowell and...Louis Walsh? Catch up with Piers now!

This week…the unthinkable has happened. Simon couldn’t make it to a day’s judging. It seems the world’s most famous judge was defeated by the common cold, and it was left to none other than Louis Walsh to fill in for the head honcho, much to Piers’ chagrin.

It’s also been the week of Piers’ touching interview with Gordon Brown - Click HERE to read all about it now.

And for the more sport minded of you, be sure to read Piers’ Q&A with Graham Alexander, the Burnley player who won the coveted ‘Morgan on Sport British Football Personality of the Year Award’.
Piers meets Gordon brown for a Life Stories special - rewatch the show now!

UPDATE: The show went down a storm and you can now watch it on the ITV player by clicking here

Great news, Piers Morgan’s Life Stories will be returning for another six episodes in March on ITV1. In addition there will be a one off before the season starts, with a very very special guest.

Prime Minister Gordon Brown will be joining Piers Morgan for an indepth hour long special on ITV1.

Piers said “I have been trying to secure a Life Stories interview with the Prime Minister since the series was first devised, because he is an absolutely perfect subject for the show. He’s one of the most famous people in the country, yet remains a man of mystery to many. I have known Gordon Brown for over 15 years - he is a man who has enjoyed great triumph, suffered terrible tragedy, and will soon face the biggest challenge of his career.”

Naomi Campbell, Arsene Wenger, Amanda Holden and Tony Blair all get mentions in this week's columns by Piers. Find out what he had to say now.

This week’s Insider column features another selection of events that could only happen to Piers! First up he gets a call to be a male model on Naomi Campbell’s Haiti benefit fashion show. Next up Piers finds out he’s going head to head with Amanda Holden in the States and if that’s not enough there is time for wine lessons for soap stars, BGT auditions and even Piers’ view of the Iraq Inquiry so far. To read the full article click here.

As for the Sports Column, sadly Piers’ fears rung too true. As he penned his article before the London derby Piers could only predict the damage that would be done to Arsene’s reputation and the team if they were to lose at Stamford Bridge. Well sadly for all Gunners, it was not to be another capitulation and leaves them 9 points adrift with Liverpool looming both in the fixtures list and in the table. To read Piers views on the Premier League’s biggest game of the weekend click here.
